Eyeglass shops

Offered by SeeLevel (AKA Mystery Researchers, Inc.)
Has anyone actually been paid yet for the return of the eyeglasses?
I think this was a program SeeLevel did not want to get into...now they owe and it is unlikely i will ever be paid....the "limit" was $350, but the cheapest glasses were $425+ here in SOCAL, so now SeeLevel sez "...nope...only paying $350...we're ignoring your attempts at clarification, so thanks for being our stool pigeon."

So you paid $75 for a pair of prescription glases? Do you have insurance that covers the $75? Oh, did you return the glasses or keep them? I get $100 a year towards eyewear costs. I did this shop to save on a significant cost, my contacts were not working for me any more and the least expensive route was about $300 for a pair of glasses. $75 is fine for me and I'd do it again.

I haven't been paid and did the shop in August. They have been a nightmare to deal with. Nicole claimed that I wasn't paid because the copy of the receipt wasn't clear enough on my report, but I sent the original receipt with the glasses and received verification by email that she had the glasses and receipt. She said she would take care of it, but never did.
I am also in So Cal and was able to find the cheapest pair of frames, but still went over by $2. She told me I wasn't supposed to spend over $350. How ridiculous can they be that they won't cover the $2. There was no way to be under $350 with the type of lens I needed for my prescription. DON'T DO THIS SHOP!!!!!!! You will regret it.
I returned the glasses and haven't been paid anything yet. I did the assignment in August.
I agree, this was the worst shop I have done in a long time. It is ridiculous that we have to jump through hoops like circus animals to get paid for the glasses that were sent back.
Dear All, I got paid $350, but with my prescription, the cheapest glasses i could get were $450+ (granted, the client's prices are verrrrry expensive). I sent the glasses back, of course. Now SeeLevel is not responding to requests for the additional money. Frustrating......I keep getting emails from SeeLevel , so I guess they don't hate me....yet.
