Hotel shop

I am scheduled to do a hotel shop for A closer Look. I'm nervous as this is my first job for them. Are they reputable? Been good to work for?

Yes and yes. I've never done one of their hotel shops but have done many, many restaurant shops for them. I've been with them for about 12 years.
Yes. They're not easy, but they are easier than many others, and you will have at least a moment of downtime. Just make sure you get all the required photos.

Now scheduling travel shops for the day after Christmas through mid-January.
You will be fine, they will bend over backwards to help and assist you. Just be aware (and have a tough skin) as they can be very picky. Considering their shops rarely pay, just read the comments with an open
mind, and learn for next time and make sure to get ALL of the photos. Good luck, you can do this!
I have done hotel shops for A Closer Look and other companies. I try to complete the housekeeping/maintenance part within 3 hours of arrival and complete as much of the shop in the evening before bed so the report does not become overwhelming. There are other excellent tips to successfully complete hotel shops in this forum. Good luck!
Hi Jenr, your first job for a closer look is a hotel? Impressive. I have done a couple hotel shops for them and have found them very simple and straightforward. You will have more than enough time to find all the people you need, and take the photos. Have a great time!
