Intelli pizza shops

I can just order a cheese pizza, right? I have done so in the past but am having a sudden crisis of doubt. They didn't change anything, did they?

No you can't. It has to be a 1 or 2 topping pizza, no 1/2 and 1/2, and certain combinations are a no-no. It's in the email you got when you were accepted for the shop and in further detail in the shop guidelines. Cheese pizza alone is a no-no.
No, as long as I have ever done these shops (and I have done many), it's always been 1 or 2 toppings only from an approved list. As long as we are talking about the national chain company (can't specifically mention the name). There was awhile back a cheese pizza shop for this client that they were doing but that was a completely different scenario. The only ones I have seen in the past year or so are the 1-2 topping only shops.
I have a done of couple of theses shops. The last one I did I got a 7 because the picture of the pizza was not at a right angle.

How do you geat a 10 on theses shops? I know the 10s are hard to come buy.
I've gotten all 10s except for a couple of 9s (supposed grammar issues). It's not about the photos. I put my pizza on a chair or stool that is mid-thigh level and stand about 12 inches away from the box with my camera directly over the pizza. I always get the correct angle. You have to make sure to move the chair around to ensure there is no overshadowing. I take at least 10 photos each time just to be sure.
How many pictures can you put in your report. I know you need to put sone information in the right hand side and to include it with in the picture
I place mine on the floor, make sure there are no shadows, turn on the flash and snap at least 6 pictures.
Yes that's good too (except for shoppers with pets, LOL). And the flash is super important!

You load a total of 3 photos. You can write the job details on a piece of paper or directly on the pizza box.

I also set the box on a chair and take the photos from directly above. I usually get 10s, but it sounds like some editors might be stingier with the 10s.
Are these similar to the pizza shops for the MSC based in CA that shops the same chain? I almost got one (I self assigned one only to have them cancel it due an error on their end). It did not come with a fee at all, unlike the CA based shops I get every month. But seeing that they don't throw out your report completely for an incorrect photo angle (it happens) makes it a little more appealing.

There are two companies that shop the same Pizza chain. The guidelines are extremely similar with only a couple of minor differences in paperwork and comments. smiling smiley

SSTexas, I think that anyone who gets a 7 because of an angle and doesn't get a shop rejected got lucky, because I have seen people come in here lambasting Intelli for a rejected shop because of bad photos. I have done shops for this chain with 3 different MSCs (one of who isn't shopping them anymore) and haven't ever had one rejected, but I have at least once over the past 10 years had one of the MSCs contact me stating they didn't like the photo I submitted and asking if I had another. I always have backup photos so I've never had one rejected for that. I haven't done one without a fee in a long time--they generally aren't posted with a fee but after you have done a few and proven yourself as a reliable shopper who does the reports/photos correctly, you can ask for a bonus. I won't do them for less than $20 in addition to the reimbursement.
I am getting only about $7-$10 bonuses three times a month for the CA MSC, and I am the only one doing the location even though I am in a huge, well populated city. I've had a few turned over to me over the years, once because I didn't know about sizing the photos and once because I took the photo in my car and it was at a slight angle. Another time I removed that darn pepper from the box for some unknown reason.

Do you think the CA MSC will up my bonuses to $20? I remember when I was new and had to beg for the tip to be covered. They put me on hold to check - I'm sure the guy just counted to ten and picked up the phone after laughing about my measly request.

I agree with Jasflalmt. Once you establish a good reputation with a scheduler good things may happen.

I completed 3 shops Sunday for the CA based MSC and received $20 for each. Tomorrow I am having one delivered to a family members house and another to a store I will be merchandising at.
I like the CA based MSC the best. I get $20 for their shops and that's my delivery location! I get more if I have to go to a different location for a carryout. I would definitely ask if I were you.
Also the scenario can be changed MOST of the time. I was given a choice today and asked for a web delivery. I use my sons account since I do not need any reward points. I completed 15 shops last month.
Web delivery is the best!!!!!

I feel like I do have a good relationship established. I don't self assign any shops, I wait for his call. I ignore the many (MANY) emails from others at the MSC. My question is... how do I go about asking for my fee to be doubled?! I don't want to bite the hand that literally feeds my family.

Depends on many things. It may be that you get 3 of them a month because you're the cheapest so they call you first. Could be that you get 3 of them a month because you're the only person for them to call. There's only one way to find out. I will say from my interactions with companies (and assuming your SN is correct) the further south you are from Houston the more likely it is the latter and not the former.

Nope, no longer south, now west of Houston. But I still get calls for down south, emails too. I did all those as well it seemed.

Sometimes, I'm okay with being the cheapest.

I asked for $35 TOTAL this week for a shop that is 106 miles round trip distance. I realize that's a "negative" balance, but it's near my grandma's house where I'll be going anyway; I was just looking for a little gas money for the kitty. It's been about ten days since I asked. I don't think they'll fill this shop any cheaper. The shopper who takes it would have to travel 52 miles on a single lane road that is just a few inches wider than one car, no lines, across a mountain with out guard rails, and they'll be required to drop off in the ditch if they do pass a car or an ATV so at least 17 inches off the ground and AWD/4x4 preferred. They'll have to watch out for deer, elk, turkeys, cattle and fowls of all manner so basically they'd need to be from the boondocks... Wait, that's me! When he calls, I think I'll ask for a little more. I've watched the shop go from $10 up to $25 over the last two weeks. I'm leaving for her house in another week so perhaps he'll finally see that $35 as a blessing.

I've done a few of these now and my bonus has been in the $8 - $10 range. There are a lot of shoppers in my area and bonuses are rare so I'm happy with the $10.
Maybe that's it. Maybe my area just isn't saturated with shoppers for this client and MSC. I still think it doesn't hurt to ask.
When I am asked I think out load.
30 minute drive...30 minute wait for the delivery..another 30 back home...30 for the report..so 2 hours
I then ask how much it pays. If the fee is too low "I am going to pass for now, if I can find another shop near by to make the trip profitable I will call you back."
Since we have never used the name of the pizza chain client in this discussion, can someone please provide the name of the CA based MSC that shops the same pizza chain? Thanks!

I get a 10 on every pizza shop with them. I've done 4 and they all received a 10.

and no, you can not just order cheese.

I typically get the cheese and tomatoes.

My life's moto: all they can do is say no so ask!

And just like dust, I will rise.
