ACL Pizza Shop

I do convenience store/gas stations for a bonus for ACL. The scheduler was in a bind and needed shoppers for the pizza shops. She offered a bonus and I said no, stating that I don't do (their) food shops.

She said I could taste it and take a picture for the report, then donate it to a food bank.

What food bank would take a partially eaten pizza?!

What food bank would take any pizza that wasn't frozen and in cryovac and packaging, then delivered in a cooler? I hear ya. That being said, you can (I do this with another chain), portion it in ziplocks, put a case of water in your car, and hand of portioned ziplocks with a bottle of water to panhandlers. Maybe one out of six of them actually will be happy with food (even though their sign says "will work for food"winking smiley. That being said, the location would still have to be close, the shop easy peasy (which ACL's usually are not), and the bonus hefty.
You could just as well take it home and toss it in the trash. If only ACL would get a clue and attach a $20 fee to this shop to make it worthwhile to shoppers and remove the desperation from schedulers.
ACL always seems desperate. Their reports are sometimes very extensive and for what - no pay, just reimbursement? No other company I know operates like that.
JAS, that's very sweet of you! That's not something I would do.

They do it because they can, and shoppers accept it. I work for cash, so I always ask for a bonus.

Plus the pizza on that particular shop (I'm guessing which one it is) is only around $7. So even though it's like an $18 reimbursement you have a tough time getting to that point. I also only consider that shop with a bonus (and still don't even do them)
What kind of bonuses do you get from ACL? I would like to do some of their shops but do not because there is no pay on most. I would definitely do them if I could get bonuses. Any suggestions on how to get them to bonus me? The shops I did for them early on were all rated well, so I don't have to build a history of good shops with them. Thanks.
There really is no magic formula. They will bonus if they are feeling desperate to get the shop done before the deadline. Just email the scheduler. As you get closer to the end of the month, and the shop remains unfilled, the more likely they are to approve the bonus, especially since you have a history with them.
ACL does not negotiate as far as I have seen. They will beg for shoppers left and right but not entertain negotiating a bonus. If they offer a bonus, that is it, take it or leave it. I understand the logic. Open the bonus door and shops will sit. Keep the door shut, the shops move along nicely.

If the shops are getting picked up at reimbursement by other shoppers in your area, they aren't going to bonus them. It would have to be hard-to-fill locations. The way to get a bonus is to ask.
I think $3-5. It's been awhile since I've seen one. Reimbursement must be enough for someone around me. Even though I get lots of emails and even text begging to take them
I ask for a $4 bonus for my gas station shops as soon as they hit the board. I do the same 2-3 shops every two months.

The gas is reimbursed $10. The food is also, but the food is bad.

I did the shop yesterday. Today's shop ate up all of my gas!
