I did one on Sunday where the departing owner had taken everything they could detach. No hardware on the doors, most of the kitchen cabinets gone, appliances of course gone, nothing left of the heat/ac system except the ductwork, hot water heater probably got dropped as they went to take it out because it was there and bent up, breakers removed from the electrical panel, all lighting fixtures removed leaving bare wires hanging, carpeting and even the hooks for curtains gone, nothing left of the pool pump and filtration equipment and even the toilets had been taken. Outside there were a number of holes where they had dug up plantings and what apparently had been a lattice covered area just had the uprights left. I was surprised they left the faucets. It wasn't a bad house to start with and the basic structure is still sound, but it will cost a bundle to get it put back together again.
My significant other had one on Sunday that still had furniture in it. The electricity and water were on and there was beer, soda, water and fresh food in the fridge. There were three outside sheds, two of which the keys he had opened but the third he couldn't. There was a note in the listing materials that it would be the obligation of the buyer to have the squatters evicted . . .
