Editors Ratings Course

I think that there should be an editors training course. Mystery Shoppers have courses. Why not editors. I talk to too many during the week that kinda feel left out of the shopping programs ZEST! They are the dragons of heat, the beast, the ones who you never want to get a call from! WRONG!!!!! Sometimes they are the nicest people that you have ever met. (Mine ar mean! LOL!) There is no program for them. There is no standard training. Shouldn't there be? I think it should be funded thru the companies who ask us to shop. Send them thru a course and make sure everyone is on the same page. Very small cost to the companies that hire shoppers and there would be some stability and guidelines. Just being an English Major might not pass the test of a Mystery Shopper editor. Why? When a concern wants to buy a company, they are more concerned with what the shopper found at that site than their grammer skills. Editors need to know the real deal of mystery shops.

If I hired 300,000 shoppers to shop W@lm@rt and I had to select editors for these shoppers and I was considering buying them,I would want the facts, not grammar, but facts. Ok. I would take the responsibility of hiring editors that WOULD BE PAID to make the reports readable. Not cahnage things, or put them into the proper gramar, but get the point across. "I went into the store to get a refund for my son's jeans that didn't fit." WRONG! It was kind of cloudy outside with hints that it might soon rain. Although I was near the store, I saw no awnings for any of the customers. I grabbed my son and the bag which held his jeans and I ran as hard as I could into the store's front door. I was greeted with a smile.

Bottom line...did you get your money back? Was it with a smile? Did other people around you smile? Were you all Smiling? WHo was the second person to smile? Are you sure that they were smiling? If you are not sure, please explain why they were not smiling. Please take our quiz and make sure that you know what a smile is. Submit 12 pictures of the smile from every angle that your camera will allow. Please note that this is expected to be a very long narrative, Your editor may void your shop.

A big kiss to my editors....this has to be tough!
