Anyone shop for B Business Solutions?

Has anyone ever shopped for B Business Solutions? The website is under bizshoptalk.com. It looks legit. They recruited me through email. Thanks!

Yes, they are a legitimate company. I have only had one shop with them because they offer so little in my area, but it went well and paid when and as expected. There are some quick 'rules of thumb' about shops. 1) I don't know of any of them that did not direct you to a website to sign up. (Some independent schedulers may send you to sites to register with them that will leave you scratching your head.) 2) No company will send a new-to-them shopper money up front 'trusting' that the job will be done. In fact you are unlikely during your shopping career to ever have any company send you money up front for fees and only on very very rare occasions money or gift cards to cover job expenses. 3) When you don't find information about a company on the forum, it is great to ask.

I did one shop for them, pay seems low for the amount of work I did.

Live consciously....
have done a couple of auto sale shops and they are legit but slow pay usually about 90 days from completion
The most recent job I did for them was about a year ago and they paid in slightly over 30 days. I note that their website indicates 2-6 weeks.

George, what companies DO you like to work with. You seem to find them all slow paying or ripping you off. Surely there must be some that you find work well for you!

I have only done a few shops for them, as they don't have much here. The shops have been a bit different and pay is fair. They have been easy to work with, as well as pleasant. Payment terms are 2-6 weeks. The last shop I did for them was paid in 4 weeks, PayPal. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.
I have shopped for this company and found the reports to be too long for the amount of pay. One of the reports used that keystroke counter and no matter how 'wordy' I made the answer it still was not enough. The report was loaded with questions requiring answers that were supposed to be impossibly long. It took too much creative work to make these jobs worthwhile.

In fact, I'm not doing much shopping lately because of the low fees, high expectations of the MSPs and the cost of gasoline.

Shopping Chicago land since 2010
The shops I have done for this company require time consuming reporting. The compensation is not in line with the amount of time it takes to complete the reports. This is a company that has you answer a lot of questions and then repeat all of the information from each of those questions in a narrative. The editors are good to work with you but no matter how much effort you put in the original narrative they will require more.

The hotel shops allow virtually no time to enjoy the facilities as you must spend all of the visit with special requests and writing. Hotel shops for other companies have been far more relaxing and fun.

A nineteen page report paid $35. Payments have been made on schedule.
I pretty much concur with the assessment on the hotel shops. I only consider them when I really need or want the hotel room as the pay is some of the lowest (if not the lowest) I have ever seen given the amount of work that is required. At the properties I have done for them, I have never been allowed to keep the points from the stay either, although this may vary by property and not be a MSC policy. This reduces the value for me.

The properties are generally nicer ones and they do pay on time. The editors and schedulers are polite and respectful and in my expierence they have been pretty clear on the requirements as well (although inflexible if unusual situations occur).
I sort of giggle because for one of their programs they bounced up my rewards category and did not take it back down after the shop. I am now eligible for a whole lot more freebies etc. I have not done a hotel shop that required I stay overnight and I certainly do not remember the report as onerous for the fee.

Wow! Score for you! I know what shop you are talking about, and had I thought that a possibility, I would have totally done it - that is a major benefit that makes that worth its weight in gold.
I always kept the points for the overnight hotel stays. I think it depends on the manager taking the time to back out the points when they reverse the charges.
