favorite mystery shopping companies

ICCDS All MSCs should take ideas from them. They have their own unique system that is almost flawless. They are the epitome of smooth professionalism. assignments are accept/decline. You can change the date within a period of days automatically. My favorite client of their's is a large grocery store/general merch store. Mostly inMI OH.
Lots of other well known retail chains. Glad to answer question re this co. What are yours?

So far my favorite ones are Business Research Group and Measure Consumer Perspectives. I also rather enjoy Bestmark, I try to get as many internet inquiry and phone shops as I can from them.
ICCDS, yes their site is good, their pay is low. My favorites: NSS, RSG, Mercantile, too many to mention, many that have bit the dust that I miss like the old Retail Eyes, the first one I started with and had the very best restaurants in L.A., (not chains) and paid a nice report fee. Now everything is chains, not really about the food anymore.

My favorite companies are Maritz Research, Quest For Best, Certified Field Association, Corperate Research, and Insula. There is probably more but these are who I think of now. Most of their shops are simple with simple reports.
I was wondering why I hadn't seen any mention of Quest for Best. The shops don't pay much but I always do a small women's apparel shop for them. Reports are the easiest yet allow you to convey all needed information without asking the same questions 10 times!!!
I primarily shop for Ellis, Inform, Melinda Brody, and Research Services. They are all top notch companies that are available to help you when you need personal contact. I like Primo Solutions also. I only work for about 12 companies even though I am signed up with about 150.

I think it depends where you are located. The only things that are open in my area are one major fast food place. They have many locations so I am busy. I wish there was more.

Another one of my favorite is Checker Patrol.
Great Info! It would help to let us know which area of the planet you shop.
Thanks so much! Mystery Shop forum at it's best.

If I remember correctly there should be an email address on their site, just email them. The site doesn't work.

I shop in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.
Well thankyou. I will...I downloaded robo into my desktop, so now I'm applying at places quickly.

Did mess up with GFK, oh well...I pushed back on my browser, on their test, and it caused it to submit it, twice. Locked out of there. Oh well.
I have now refraned from mentioning my favorites, and I have two more...reason being, a couple new shoppers here get my info., and take my shops, very nice.
I had no competition until this year, now newbies are coming out of the woodwork, blame the economy, I know everyone's trying to make a living, but do your own homework!

Checker Patrol's Excel spreadsheet is always a pain to use when reporting shops...I wish they would just have a normal system like all others, but they are very nice to deal with and pay fairly quick.
I'm going to apply for about 10 more, when I finish my work today, and after my shops.

I am one of the newbies! Sorry Irene, hope I am not one taking your shops! I have been shopping for 8 months now. Still enjoying it. Get lots of emails from the companies I shop for and have recently moved from PA to AZ so am still getting emails for PA Shops.

It has been quite a learning journey! Now I am adding to the competetion by telling a couple of friends about shopping. OOPPS!

I guess I will rethink that!

You have all been such a great help to me, I truly appreciate it.

Shopping Scotsdale-Phoenix area.
I say go for it. All shops have rotations. We should all be able to get some of the pie if we are diligent. If you disagree that is OK LET'S TALK.
Actually not all shops have rotations. I am somewhat hesitant to be too up front about all the companies I shop for the same reasons as Irene. I know that in the area I shop I only see three companies that have anything with any regularity. Truth be told, anyone who has been here any length of time will know the names of those companies.

I don't mind asking a direct question about a company such as how long does it take to pay or have you had an issues, but I am cautious about spelling out the names of every company I have found an opportunity with. I love to talk about experiences and how we have dealt with specific issues when shopping.

I would love to find a trusted friend for shops on rotations that we alternated on, but I have two kids I am putting through college, so I need to keep some things close to the vest.
