I would like to be a Mystery Shopper for McDonalds

I have been a Mystery Shopper for the Hardee's stores until they stopped that!

I know how to go in the store and order then I pay attention to the store for cleaness, friendly, quickly serving and how nice they may be. I enjoy meeting people and seeing how clean the stores and outside are.

Overton,

Hello and welcome!

Unfortunately, you probably won't find anyone here who will point you to the company who is mystery shopping McDonald's.

It isn't because we aren't helpful, it's because we all have an agreement with the company to NOT reveal their clients.

But if you look at the list of companies suggested for beginning shoppers, that company is on there.

Good luck, hope this helps a little.
They DO get shopped and the company is in the list. Happy hunting!!

Well! I just want to wish you a warm welcome. Welcome aboard!

If you take the time and follow the advice given, you save yourself a lot of headache and work for nothing!

Good luck!
I have done 7 McDonalds shops, they called me and offered a $3 bonus but I have read on this forum that the Mystery Shop is notorius for not paying their shops and is a troublesome company to work for so beware! I will update this forum if I ever get paid, and if so in a timely hastlefree manner. They were done this month so we will see. I wish I had read the warnings before I took the shops.
P.S. McDonnalds Mystery Shopping Company is not a Sassie Shop if that helps you in figuring it out.
McDonald's Shops - I've done a few when I'm on the road and know I'm going to be needing to grab a bite on the run. Easy report - straight forward directions and requirments so it's a super simple shop that doesn't pay very much. If you're good with that, go for it. I've never had any trouble getting paid for these shops.
some of them are $18 as of today. but they are probably not too many of them left. THey don't actually pay you , they reimburse you for food. $18 is a lot of mcdonalds food for 1 person isn't it? I wont do them either. go see supersize me on dvd by morgan spurlock. you will never eat mcdonalds or meat again.

They do pay you the fee, plus reimburse you for the meal(s) required to purhase as part of the shop. The only time you will not get paid is if you do not follow the guidelines and they can not use your report. I have done many of these and I have been paid for every one.

I did them several years ago when I first started doing mystery shopping and got burnt out on them. I agree - not worth the pay. Yes, I've seen the pay go up when they need shoppers but I just got sick of having to eat 2 meals each time and all the excessive timing. Plus being constantly threatened that if I didn't do everything exactly right, that I would get the shop disapproved. IMHO, not worth it.

Shopping off and on for 20+ years in NE Arkansas.
I have done quite a few McDonalds, always got paid. Doing the timing is the worst part of the shop
I ve done plenty of McD shops, after a few they get to be second nature. Burger and a bonus is a good thing!
Had to stop doing them - gained too much weight! I think just SMELLING those french fries adding on 5 pounds!

I'll stick to the fine dining now, as those are few and far between and I can space them out much better! (giving me a month in between to lose the pounds I gain by eating at the restaurants - *laughing*)

If you don't get paid for just one job it will wipe out any profit from dozens of shops.<MSC> will use any and all excuses not to pay you. The mickey reports run about 40-50 questions and say anything wrong and you won't get paid.

Hardto, you hate the company and they don't let you work there anymore. How is that not a win for everyone?

Personally I have not done any McDonalds shops, though there are about a dozen in my neighborhood alone. From what I've read here they aren't worth it. In my area they are at 7.50 and for all the details they want I doubt I would enjoy the food anyway. What are you supposed to do sit there with a stopwatch discreetly in the palm of your hand lol. I'll pay the 2.00 if I want a burger that bad.

Lelou, if you do a few of those along now and then, you'll get established with the company and they'll eventually call you with bonuses if any are available in your area. I've done those as high as $75 for one location (several times) and I've done many, many of them for $40 to $50. I've started avoiding fast food shops lately but if you can handle it they can be a really good source of income.

Thanks for the advice, I did not think of that! I might check if the ones on my way to other shops this weekend are available and give them a try. I am not a huge fan of the food there, but my kiddo loves their apple pie and fries. That might be a nice treat for her when mommy gets home smiling smiley I might have to ask some questions about the timings though lol.

Hi, Barry, welcome to the forum. Our opinions differ widely about which are the best mystery shopping companies to work for and which are the best clients and the best shops to do. I suggest you do a little reading here on the forum and get an idea of the types of shops available and see what appeals to you. For example, some people shop for money and how much they will earn from each job is a primary concern. Others work more for the reimbursements. I work my day job full time and I shop for the opportunity to eat out more often and get "extras" so I am in the category of shopping more for the reimbursements. I like the fine dining and fast casual shops. Others like fast food shops because they can grab lunch or dinner while they are out. It's all in what you want and whether the assignment offers a fair value to you.

5. For this mystery shopping your are required to dine in you are required to bring a guest to company. It can be anyone you want to bring.

Email your details and I will contact you to (LINK REMOVED).
With no details provided about who you are and who your company is, NO, I would NOT interested in being your mystery shopper, even if I were in Singapore. You have posted the same opportunity twice now, and either time did you provide ANY information about the company.

No way will I send my details, including my bank account number, to an e-mail address.

Who are you?
What is your company?
What is your company's address?
What is your company's website?
Why would a company want a potential shopper's "details" e-mailed to a blind e-mail address
rather than provided on their website?
