Hi Neharika
Welcome, and I want you to visit this thread [
www.mysteryshopforum.com] and download some apps to your smart device and get started. The first 2 apps in that list are what you will need to get started. Make sure you sign up with some MSPs/MSCs (Mystery Shopping Companies) and start slow. One assignment per day. As you get familiar with this kind of work, then you can get more assignments and be more active. And remember you are NEVER a Mystery Shopper. If any one asks you are a Market Reseach Analyst.
Basically, you will sign up with the MSPs/MSCs and provide some information as to your profile. Male, Female, married or single, age and other pertinent information for the scheduler to fit you in an assignment demographics.
If you fit, then you will receive an email asking you if you would like to take the assignment on. Sometimes you can self-assign an assignment.
When you receive acknowledgment of assignment, you will also receive instructions and guidelines to perform the assignment. You MUST do all that they ask otherwise your assignment shop might be rejected. Do your best and if something is unattainable explain why and how you tried your best to comply.
You will need to complete a report, usually on the web, and submit the report by the due date. If anything is going to delay you reach out to the scheduler and inform them. They might be able to give you an extension.
Once the report is submitted, be available for any questions or clarifications from the editors. Usually, an email will come by asking you to clarify something you wrote in the report. Sometimes your report is spot on and you have done a marvelous job. Answer these emails in a timely manner. They will love for that.
Once you have received acknowledgment that your report was accepted, mark your calendar to expect payment. Usually, MSCs/MSPs pay through PayPal, so make sure you have an account.
This is the process in a nutshell.
