What's up, folks? New to this side!

Good evening! I'm just an average 34 year old dude who spent most of his life wrenching and working in the trades fields, but I'm a mechanic/electrician by training. I thought it might be fun to give this a shot, and see if I can help out, and maybe make a little side money in the process. Especially interested in MS'ing garages, parts stores, automotive-related stuff, just because I KNOW that some folks in the field are a little...shady at times. I'm as guilty of it as anyone, but now I know the tricks, and usually go with my friends to their mechanics to keep them honest.

Hello @grenade. Welcome to the forum! Mystery shopping is a great side gig, and there are plenty of shops for vehicles.

I've asked my new assistant, Dave, to research information that would be useful to you. He should have some suggestions shortly. However, he's new, so please don't act on his suggestions until you get the "All Clear" from me. Dave just started. He's eager, but green.

Best of luck to you. Be sure to sign up with as many companies below as you can.
Hey, Chris is tongue-in-cheek, LOL. Dave likely doesn't know the answers to any questions so if he pops his bobble head in this thread, pay no mind. I am not sure why Chris thought that was funny but she does have a strange sense of humor, LOL.

There is a link at the bottom of the page for new shoppers and also a link to a list of shopping companies.

In my area, Intelli-shop does some oil change shops for a nationwide automotive business. I like free oil changes.
Bestmark is one company to sign with, they have a ton of car shops....Good luck.

Live consciously....
Are you kidding me? That @#$%& was funnysmiling smiley

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
Intellishop sometimes has oil changes in my area, and I think Bestmark does some service shops that are specific to certain makes and mileage.
It appears that DCs post has disappeared from this thread. Let's hope that follows throughout the forum in all threads.
I didn't sign up for too many shops this last long holiday weekend and I've had "Cops" on the TV most of the day yesterday and today. It's funny how the perpetrators consider what they're doing ok no matter how it affects society at large or their Mama!
I was wondering where the photo came from since it's a professional photo, not a private one without a copyright. That's so cool that they gave you permission to copy part of the webpage.
Quoted: Yes, the permission to use a photo (especially from an approved MS Company that is promoted on this forum) comes from the Copyright Fair Use Doctrine of the US Government.

Malarky! What does the fact that a photo that comes from a companies website, posted without permission, to a related website have to do with anything? That is called a scrambled and I invite you to look that up in the dictionary.
