Have been working for MF for about 4 months now and have recently picked up jobs for a couple other companies. I'm curious--I've had to do some reviews of my paperwork and I've had a problem getting a response on a shop I had scheduled. How do you know when your jobs have been accepted and that you're actually going to get paid? With MF, I've never had a problem--they are great at responding and if I've had a problem I know why.

When you are in the "My Shops" area, Click on View Assignment/Receipt Status page. There is a list of your recently-completed shops. You can see if you have submitted the receipts/photos and when they are Verified. Under the shop number, the shop will initially say "in QC," meaning it is being reviewed by the Quality Control Group, MF's editors. When it is approved, it changes to show Approved.
What company or companies are you asking about how you know if they've been accepted and paid? Some are the same, some are different.
Most companies will send you confirmation when a job is accepted, but not all. Try to have some sort of note system or spreadsheet so you can check up until the date you requested. Same with jobs you have done so you know when or if you were paid. Find what system works best for you. There is also a thread in "Mystery Shopping Company Discussion" on when companies pay. Every company is different so it can also benefit you to have your own notes about companies you have signed up with on their policies and procedures.
