My first Mystery Shop was last night and I enjoyed it

Hello,

I'm new to the forum and to Mystery Shopping. I got hooked up for a $17 shop through North Fork Research yesterday. I had to shop a fitness center. It was fun, and easy! The poor store associate did TERRIBLE. I hope that he doesn't get fired.

Cool, welcome to the forum. I hope you find a lot more shops that you like to do. Did you see the links to "Official list of mystery shopping companies" and "new mystery shoppers" sections at the bottom of this page?
Congrats on your first shop! It's so exciting, yea!

Oh my! I remember my first shop. I was incredibly nervous. It was for a Chart House, ions ago when they had the all-you-can-eat lunch bar and you could take your kids. All of the employees did great, although I tend to lean on the positive side like when I didn't really notice the "smile" but heard it on the recording. Not all people smile big and bright when they smile. Oh, those were the days when I really was so excited about my shops. One thing I could recommend is that if you have to evaluate an employee and whether or not they smiled, it's good to smile yourself. People tend to take on a little of their customer's demeanor.
Welcome! It’s nice to have your first shop go smooth! Like someone else mentioned, sign up for as many MSCs as you can. Clients change MSCs and even their programs and rotations often. Another quick way to see what shops are currently available is the job board. Schedulers post there often. So if you see something you like, you’ll already know which MSC to sign up with.

I personally hate the fitness center visits. Good thing others like them!
Thank you. Yes, I've seen the the links to "Official list of mystery shopping companies" and "new mystery shoppers" sections at the bottom of this page. I've read a few posts so far.
