Indoor Air Pollution

Frequent sneezing, on-going sniffles, extreme fatigue and watery eyes – if you go to the doctor they will say that these appear to be the symptoms of an ordinary head cold. Recent reports of air pollution suggest that such symptoms are the result of spending time outside breathing in the heavily polluted air while going to college or work. According to the Air Quality Index, Delhi’s air was so toxic that breathing it in was equivalent to smoking 50 cigarettes a day! Hospitals across India have reported a 20% increase in pollution-related illnesses and doctors have declared it a public health emergency across the country. These seemingly ordinary symptoms can also be the result of high-levels of Indoor Air Pollution.
