I Am New

Good Day. I am new to Mystery Shop Forum but not new to mystery shopping. About 5 or years ago is when I first got in to mystery shopping. I contracted through a few companies at the time and did a few shops here and there. I did it for about a year before getting out of it. I am now back into mystery shopping and using secret shopping as a way to have some spending cash. My favorite shops are auto dealerships but I don't limit myself to these. I enjoy all types of shops and this go around I am more focused and plan on attaining as many certifications as possible. I am also a paid member of MSPA. I hope to be a frequent contributor to the forum. Thanks.

Welcome. As you read the forum posts you will find that most here do no rate certifications high on their agenda. Reliability, good writing, and objectivity in reporting trump certifications every time in non-video shops. for video, training can be important, but that can be had at little cost, on-line, through IMSC. MSPA mainly represents the MSCs as a lobbying group, but not so much the shoppers. To make more money I suggest learning video and saving membership dues to buy an acceptable video recorder and camera. Currently, that would be a PV-500 with upgraded button camera.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
