Anyone doing Ice Cream resets? A rant.

I've been doing the ice cream resets for a drugstore chain and I am amazed at how not a single one can be set to the planogram. Example: the set calls for 6.25 inch wide baskets, four across and two high on a shelf. The freezer is only 23 inches wide! I need 25 inches to put 4 on the shelf. Same thing with the larger than shown packaging. I have had to eliminate all the double facings, and still cut 6 items out of every set. I do ask the store what they prefer to cut, and go with their choices. It gets even better, I went into a store I reset last Sunday and one of the 2 vendors has redone the set and stuck their deleted products in and put the other vendors moved products behind other facings. I can't wait until vendor #2 comes in, he is with the company that paid for the reset. So glad I took about 6 extra pictures when I was done and documented all the deletions on the report. Can't wait for the one tomorrow. I already checked, this one doesn't fit either, but I also have a chest freezer to deal with, and everything is stocked to the brim. Did I mention the former vendor on their last stop unloaded an incredible amount of not in set product which is both already freezer burned and almost at expiration date. I had almost 100 extra pieces of disco crap for one set. The manager is young and not very experienced, so his directive was,"stick it wherever you can" Good Lord, I would like to do exactly that!
Excuse the rant, just so tired of these sets and no solutions being provided by the company, even though the first one was a debacle, and I documented, reported, sent pictures and informed them that I had to use a hammer to get product out of the giant icicle running down the entire back of the freezer. I even sent pictures of the boxes of Drumsticks encased in 6 inches of ice. I would love to know which ones I can remove with the companies blessing. I'm in a state if winging it on every set
The person on the other side of town has not done any of these yet, and I have a sick feeling that she will blow them off and I will be asked to " help out" again. I'm getting tired of any job that is difficult being passed on to me. If she can't do the job, hire someone else.
