I'm looking for feedback from any of you here regarding this merchandising company.

I'm in a 4 month long "paper chase" for my promised pay. I have received 5 paychecks during that time, and only one was correct. All the rest were short. I keep getting promised "it'll be on the next pay cycle", but it never is.

I really like my manager, I love the paychecks coming every two weeks or so. But not when I don't get paid for work completed, reported timely, and accepted.

Also, one cannot check the pay history on their site. It seems every other company I have worked for, this information is accessible right on the site -- job completed, pay rate, pay pending, paid date and amount.

Thanks for any input.

This kind of sounds like good ole Mary winking smiley Mary is a tough cookie but has always made right for me. She doesn't keep track on her website, so be sure to write down job numbers. Also, for some strange reason.. one month Mary sent me three separate pay checks! THREE.

Then again, it also kind of sounds like my Bestie winking smiley Bestie is a good one to work for too, however you are sometimes held back 2 weeks. Again, log trips and reports and keep hard copies of all information. I took about 4 weeks to catch up before picking up more shops when I was new with Bestie. The same with Mary.

Hopefully you're catching on here. Anyway, they both did me right in the end.

Edited: auto correct kept changing Bestie to a naughty word winking smiley

Update: Finally got paid yesterday.

According to my records, they overpaid me $15. I was expecting $69, got $84.

I am mulling over whether or not to tell them. I'm scheduled to do another assignment, and I'm thinking I won't tell them about the overpayment until I get paid for this assignment. If it's paid $15 short (as usual), then it's a wash, right?

LOL!!!!
I have just started with them too and am questioning the pay rate. I signed up for some assignments and wrote it in my schedule book now I that I am assigned I see the pay isn't the same. I asked about it, didn't get an answer.
Of course it didn't occur to me to take a screenshot of the $ amount I originally saw posted.
Lesson learned.

So it sounds like I am going to have to be vigilant to be sure the correct pay is remitted each time? If that is the case I will keep their assignments to a minimum, don't need and added paperwork. Sigh ...
