Dollar General

I signed up for three locations to clear a space so a jewelry display can be installed. Has anyone completed these? Any issues? I had issues on all three of them, where I was not aloud to complete this.

I thought about signing up but figured it might be a headache. What issues did you have?
No one was aware of this program. They called the store manager and they did not either. They would not let me do anything. It says to call the DG hotline if the store won't let you proceed but they are only open Monday-Friiday.
Wow, which is crazy because they just added the listing here for the removal on Thursday/Friday and wanted it done by yesterday. None of the support offices are open on the weekend, so pretty much useless.

I was already stacked this weekend but was thinking of picking up one of the ones near me to do later this week if still available.
Purplepugs, did you ever go back? I thought someone grabbed them by me, they disappeared for 3 days but now they are relisted at $100 with a due date of tomorrow.
I was contacted by the scheduler. They want me to return. I told them I could not until Saturday. She said it was fine. I decided that I am going to call each store on Friday and speak to the manager that I will be coming out on Saturday. If I get any push back, I am dropping it.
I completed one location and it took almost 4 hours. Make sure to follow the diagram on left of instructions and not the broken down sections on right of instructions or they will send you back. Plus, I learned easiest way to start was from the bottom with pegs, making sure necklaces fit before adding pegs upward. The store I was at, moved the sunglasses display, which exposed a perfect 4 ft peg board to use by the registers. You can suggest this.
Did you do take down and set up? There are both listed within 70 miles of me. The only ones I was interested in were the take down. The listing stated someone else would be coming in to set up the new display.

The employees moved it over to side of peg board as the Sunglasses display is very heavy and can topple over. I only set up the Rand pegs and jewelry. I hope that helps you. All stores got the pegs in December and jewelry end of January/beginning of February. Since you are traveling so far, call and speak to store manager and let them know date you will be going so they can let employees know incase they are not present. My job offers were only set ups initially but I guess they offered take downs as it is too much for one rep to do in same day.
Can you give me a hint on the company that offers these shops?
I did one 4-ft display and it took 4 hours 20 minutes to complete. I was paid $62 for that effort. I felt really cheated and will not do another one..
There were many listings for this gig n my area. I passed for a few reasons, though mainly 'cause Dollar General's business ethos sucks and I'd rather not help them at all.
