It's open source and written in .PHP language. Requires little processing power and could run easily on an inexpensive cloud based virtual private server account from a provider like OVH for about $20 a month.
I actually got a similar message when I tried to send a PM to a forum member regarding a tax question.
I'm working on a fix to this problem, but it will require extended server down time. I'm going to have to schedule it.
Will we get enough warning to prepare for forum withdrawal? Or would that be phorum withdrawal?

@LisaSTL -- yes! I will warn everyone at least a few days in advance.
One more thing, could you please give us a heads-up idea of the length of the "extended server down time", so we can plan our lives accordingly.

There was something funky going on in the forum earlier. I copied and pasted and sent the error messages directly to Jacob. I kept getting different phorum messages.
I kept getting those, too and then they went away......probably because you reported them to Jacob.
