Is the forum website slow for everyone, or am I the only lucky one?

Is it just me, or is the forum running exceedingly slow right now? For the past week, the pages on this site slow my browser to an absolute crawl. Sometimes it tells me that it has stopped responding, but if I just wait a little longer, it eventually catches up. I am using Chrome with Windows 7. This is the only website that is causing me problems right now. I have tried rebooting a couple of times, but it has not helped. Perhaps I need to install updates to Java or Adobe or some other plugin. It just seems like they pester me daily for these damn updates that I tend to put them off to every couple of weeks or so.

I'm thinking it's the ads that are being placed. I am seeing more and more "moving" ads, which pay more money IF they get clicked, but there's a script that is running that seems to be off. It's hanging me up as well. Only on this site, also.

Now scheduling travel shops for the day after Christmas through mid-January.

I'm have sporadic problems, too. I used to leave the forum open on my browser, but now I open it, do my business here, and close it out. That seems to help.
