Advertising another forum in one's sig line ?

How do forum members feel about a member whose permanent sig line advertises what he calls "the Canadian version" ? At least he has removed the part that claimed that ALL real MSCs are MSPA certified.

I missed the part about the MSPA. It is odd he has been a member for three years with only 10 posts the first two. Now after a year long break there are 20 within two days including a new thread created just to promote the other forum. Since we are all aware hosting a forum generates income, shouldn't he be transparent about who is benefiting?

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
My thoughts exactly. PLUS, just about all of his earlier posts were negative toward the industry, shoppers, etc. Promoting one's own money-making forum is well over the line IMHO.

I saw the posts and the sig line. I was wondering about it myself. Glad you posted about it, walesmaven.

I am thinking someone contacted him or visa versa because the advertising done in a post was changed and removed.
