WF shop for GfK

I just got assigned one of these shops. They've changed the requirement: you no longer have to be employed (self-employed is ok). Anyone have any words of wisdom?
Thanks

I just completed one. Read through the requirements and keep good notes from your phone interactions, and you'll be fine.

IMO, the briefing notes make the shop sound way more complicated than it actually is.
thanks. I was just going to post something else. I am having a lot of difficulty with this company in general, just in terms of their processes. I think they convolute things that just don't need convoluting! I just did the initial VIN (what the heck's a VIN???) and am waiting for approval. Since they took away the employment component (I mean, really, don't self-employed people get mortgages?) I should be fine in that regard. If not....oh well.
about to give up on the MSC. I have tried to get clarification about another issue and have heard nothing. I understand that everyone is busy, but I don't appreciate being ignored.
I did that one, I hope you had better luck than I had. The person I was to talk to couldn't have been less interested in talking to me. Made personal contact exactly once, the rest of the time it went to voice mail and she never ever returned the calls.

However, it was the easiest $150 I've made in a long time.

I sat on my rump, dialed the phone a few times, spoke words to an unknown answering machine and documented attempts to get this fluffy headed target. Unlike other shops where I spoke words to incomprehensible boors for a paltry $4, I was paid handsomely for a bit of play acting and received $150.

I wish they'd let me do more but there's a rotation of a gazillion years.

thanks, your Serene-ness. I find out today if I have been accepted into the program. Sounds like rehab or NASA :-) And I hope you have since learned not to take those jobs for $4.

One of the happier subjects of the realm.

Rehab has got to be much harder than this shop.
I am hoping to get in on one of these myself, but having troubles on the site. Hopefully I can get some answers on how to "opt in" as I see no such button I can majically click!
I had a lot of trouble on the site. I was told to use Firefox. Still have some problems but not as much
If memory serves, someone posted that GfK wants an older version of Firefox, and actually suggests uninstalling the new version, and then downloading the old.
No doubt you've read their suggestions. Earlier versions than IE 8 or 9, as well as an earlier version of Firefox 4. Google Chrome is "highly recommended". Since they took their reporting platform in house, it's been trying.
I love it when companies are too cheap to pay a developer to update their sites to modern standards and instead expect their users to put themselves and their computers at risk for the company's convenience. Bass akwards.
I use Google Chrome for everything else. But it didn't work on the GfK...AND I just found out I haven't been assigned to the WF shop yet. I still have to be approved by the client. What the.... Why is everything so complicated???? :-/
Gevalt!!
