Payment methods

If anyone shops with Shadowshopper, please let me know how you are paid and if it is secure. I feel uncomfortable with giving my number to companies and would like to hear from anyone's experience with this. Thank you.

You are really not paid by Shadow Shopper. You are paid by the individual company. Shadow Shopper provides you the leads for jobs and you have to register and apply with the individual companies. All of the companies are different. Some pay by PayPal, checks, or direct deposit. If you want to do jobs unfortunately you have no choice but to give your SS# and other personal info. I started with ShadowShopper for a free trial. At the beginning it was the lowest membership, Bronze I think, but it didn't give you all of the info--it was hidden. Then somehow I got an offer for a free three month trial and it did give all of the info for the jobs. I got a lot of good leads and a start for shopping with different companies;however all of the posted jobs were not up to date. Some of them weren't even available anymore because as we all know good jobs go fast and most are first come, first served. I had a problem cancelling the membership at the end because I didn't know I had to cancel one day prior because it automatically renewed on the last day and my credit card was already charged. After a few e-mails they did credit my card back and everything was straightened out. I had no intention of paying for this service. You have to get a lot of jobs to make it worthwhile.

I dont give my SS number unless I check with the BBB for their current rating status.
I know with Paypal you have another option where the money is deposited into your account and they will cut you a check for your pay and charge you a dollar.
This way your information is not released. Now I know with the demo companies you do have to give up you ss number. Hey I cant blame them: There are crazy people, (to have them hand out samples...)
Any way back at the question. Best mark pays by check and Speedmark pays by paypal.. TSI pays by check.
Now Idid the same thing withShadow shopper but what I did is when I got the email from them I took the name of the companies that was at the beginning of the email looked them up my self.
This way I didnt have to payshaddow shoppers anything.

Sorry I did the trial free with Shadow shoppers and I took the companies from the emails shadowshoppers sentme.
Now the only thing I suggest is that you email the company and ask them if they pay by check or paypal and how longis the process.
