Does Bare International ever contact you?

I've applied for a few shops with Bare and only been accepted once. The other times they never even sent a simple email to let me know they assigned other shoppers. Every other MSC I work for at least notifies me I didn't get the assignment. Anyone else have this problem and find it annoying?

Yes, and Bare isn't the only one who doesn't notify. (KSS comes to mind, though there are others, too.) It hasn't happened to me, but I've also heard of instances where the shop is assigned, but an email doesn't go out. I keep track of all the shops for which I've applied, and if the date is approaching and I haven't heard back, log into the site to see what the status is. Although it usually winds up that it's disappeared and has obviously been assigned to someone else, there have been several instances when I've found it's still pending. Depending on the circumstance, I sometimes wind up deleting the application.

They do not contact unless you get the shop, if you haven't heard, it probably went to someone else.

Makes sense. They're the only msc that doesnt notify me one way or the other. I've never had that with kss, either. They're pretty good about keeping me posted.

It is totally annoying. Sometimes with one MSC they tell you on their board that you and others are "waiting" and then they advance the start date. I can't figure out how this is an advantage for them. I just wait a few days then cancel. We all need a schedule in this business.

Have done so many shipping shops for them that they usually give me whatever I ask for. They do call me for the hard to place ones but I'm having to turn them down if the bus doesn't go that far.

You only get contacted when you get a shop. This is pretty much the standard except the ones who use Sassie I think you get a rejected notice lol. I have seen both. I have had phone calls from Jason and others at Bare when they need a shop done and done correctly on the other side of the MSC fence. That always makes me feel great when I get a personal call to do a "better" shop because the MSC or scheduler knows it will be completed on time and correctly.

On the other hand, another MSC who does high end and luxe shops only ignored my request for a shop in my area. I was so sure it was mine and nada. I have completed shops for them before with almost perfect scores so it happens to the best of us. Keep applying!!

Did a bonused shop for Bare last April but when the check showed up, no bonus! Contacted them several times, was assured that the bonus would be sent... epic fail! Bare International? Um, no thanks!

i know the times i have initiated contact with them they are quite fast in returning my emails...

i have contacted them several times on a bike shop that they do... but it just keeps getting higher and no one wants it... they say the client will not accept me cause i have done one less than a month and they have a 90 day rotation... perhaps they will blink and just give it to me... i love doing them...
