I am still fairly new to this and was wondering what is the best recorder equipment to use AND the best video equipment to use that can go unoticed.

Thank you.

Br3ndajo, for any audio equipment recordings, seek out anything made by Olympus or even Sony ($25-60 SRP) along with a TP-7 device ($40 SRP). You can find these devices at Walmart, Radio Shack, etc. For your video, its strongly recommended to start out with a PV-500 by LawMate($300-350 SRP) Yet before you do any video work, I strongly recommend trying out equipment that is "rented" by other video companies before deciding if video work is for you.
Eric, is that PV-500 for just the camera? Measure's deal includes the button cam, extra battery, etc. and I'm wondering which is the better deal.

I also second what you said about video equipment. Audio is relatively cheap and can pay for itself easily.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
I posted a similar question and had lots of great answers. I finally decided to download an mp3 recording app for my Android phone and just put the phone in my shirt pocket. It worked great and made the narratives very easy.
