pcurrymorgan,

I have heard from several people that they make money with these theater assignments. I found the time tedious for what was done. I thought I stuck out like a sore thumb reading a book. I couldn't hide in the seats because they were cleaned between shows. I couldn't read during the movie because the lights were off. I couldn't hide in a snack area, either. I didn't have time to go to my car. Exactly how did you manage it. Didn't you draw attention with a large bag carrying all those supplies. I thought I was obvious when I carried a totebag of snacks. They are always looking for people with hidden cameras and I felt conspicuous. There is absolutely nowhere to be by yourself and be different.
I tried contacting Market Force twice to see if they can get me back into doing the trailer checks with certified, however although they told me that they will try and look into it, nothing ever happened. Market Force DID tell me that they may eventually INCLUDE the certified assignments on their website the way they did with a couple other smaller companies under their wing, but if it does happen, it won't be anytime soon. The ONLY reason why I'm still a member with Market Force is just in case they acquire the theatre shops. I don't like doing the ALL day open or blind checks either......but I do enjoy doing the trailer checks for a little extra cash. They were fun and easy. Now,I can't seem to find any other company that does these trailer checks on a regular basis. Hanover Media seems to have good reviews so far, but they mostly do the all day checks and they don't even happen that often.
Hanover is doing a trial run with trailers in February followed by reguslar trailer checks in March. This was told to me by their representative recently.
Certified and CRI are the worst msp in existence. They will not communicate with you and their status department will unassign shops for any reason. ie: I notified them that I had had an accident in a blizzard 6 hours before the shop. I was late by 6 hours and had notified them. The status people unassigned me after I had done 6 shops for them in one day. I got home and found that I could not enter the shops and not get paid. I threatened to sue them and actually sent a letter telling them that I would sue. They responded by paying me $2.00 for each shop. Anyone working for them needs a psychiatric examination as they will get you sooner or later. It is the law of nature, bad is bad, and they are mucho malo.
Yes, what is wrong with them? I was under the understanding that cri and certified were one and the same. How can marketforce have such a company and be the largest company? do you think they will get rid of certified? I was also wondering how they ever even get people since they seem to get rid of all of them. They lied and said I said something wrong about a manager at a theatre. How would I know who the manager was and why do they not work with you? How can one learn if you do not make mistakes?
Any feedback I would love to hear it.
Yes, CRI and Certified are the same thing. Obviously clients are convinced they are getting value for their buck or they would not be working with Certified. Obviously Certified has profits and loyal clients or Market Force would not have bothered purchasing them. Corporate cultures do not need to mesh between arms of a business as long as those arms are kept separated. I find that the Shop 'n Chek arm of Market Force has improved since they went with Market Force and obviously the Certified arm has stayed the same or gotten even worse.

The moment a company accused me of lying, they would be toast in my book forever. I am a professional. I do my work to the best of my ability. If I screw up due to my own fault I will try to fix it--but never through lying. If I screw up because the client's location is not allowing me to do my job (either deliberately or inadvertently), that information will be in my report. If they have questions about a job I have performed, they are welcome to discuss it in a professional manner and that by definition disallows accusations.
I agree. But how can they get away with all of these things and still stay a company?

Certified is THE WORST Mystery Shop company to work for. I worked for them 4 years. I went to work did 5 jobs went home to enter my jobs on line my account was deactivated. A manager lied on me because she did not assist me in my assignment. She called Certified and said I did not do my assignment. Stay away from Certified. I work for Market Force. They seem to be nice people. I am hoping they take over Certified completely.
Yeah, even on the volition forum site, some recent negative commments have been made against certified. Supposedly they have a new website up now and some people were actually deactivated because they couldn't submit their reports on time since their OWN website was down for temporary reconstruction. I really hope reps from market force have access to these forums, so they know what's going on. It's really time they take them over completely. I think we all should write e-mails to Market Force regarding this matter and include links from this forum and the volition forum, proving to them how bad Certified treats their mystery shoppers. If anyone receives a response to their e-mail to Market Force, please share the reply on here.
Did anyone write to them? Also has anyone been deactivated and able to get back in?
Beware of CERTIFIED....they have the rudest most arrogant staff around.

Nuff already with this. We get it-you dislike them. Can we move on to something else?
