Scanner for phone

Paid $1.99 for the best investment ever. Scanner on the phone. Carry a clipboard in the car and scan when you get back in the car and email to yourself.
No more lost receipts! The one I like is called TurboScan. You can edit the size very easily.

That sounds like the answer for a number of folks Canadamommy. Is that for an iPhone or an Android?
I'd like to know that too. I am also wondering how it is better than just taking a photograph of the document. With photos I don't have to e-mail them to myself. Because of iCloud they link to all my computers. If it's better, I want to at least try it.

I phone. The advantage over just a pic is editing the size right then and emailing it to yourself. This you can edit size instantly. And the time to do one receipt was probable under a minute start to finish.
Thanks for the 411. I think my free method will still save me a couple of steps. No e-mailing, no transferring which is great for me since it doesn't matter if I decide to work in my office or take the laptop out on the patio. Also instead of editing each individually I can just open them all in Microsoft Picture Manager and resize them in a batch.

Emailing I think is a good safety net. You have extra proof if you need it later and are not at your normal computer.
That's what I love about iCloud. The photo is actually in 5 different places on 4 different devices without me having to make a single copy. It is on both the camera roll and in Photo Stream on my phone, plus my PC, laptop and netbook. You do have to be on WiFi for it to sync. I was on a route last week and ended up with about 45 minutes of down time and there was a McDonald's a few minutes from my next stop. By the time I grabbed a cup of coffee and got my laptop turned on the photos from my morning jobs were already there waiting for me. Within 5 minutes a dozen photos were resized and labeled without me having to connect anything.

I have I cloud. You stick to that and I will stick to email.I was able to complete the shop in the car before I left the lot. Just personal preference. You still needed to take a picture of the receipt. We both did. You sent yours to I Cloud.
I sent mine to the report via the scanner saved and send email.
Absolutely and I certainly wasn't trying to argue. I'm always interested in anything that can make my life easier. It's certainly better to get the scoop about an app from an actual user.
