Car Dealerships ?

I see a company that needs a shopper for a car dealership says you need to say you are looking to buy a new car. It doesnt tell me anything more about it. For those who have done this what all does it consist of it also says need a receipt how do you get one if you are looking to buy a new car?

You would need to look at the specifics for the shop in question. Some want you to provide the salesman's business card, some want the written estimate they give you. Some want you to just go in and look and talk with the salesman, some want you to take a test drive, some want you to negotiate your best price before you walk away, some want you to have your vehicle evaluated as a trade in, some want you to be a 'serious buyer' without ever taking a test drive. Some want you to go in interested in car X to see if they suggest car Y, some want you to be just looking to see if car Y is suggested, some want you to have some parameters in mind to see if car Y is suggested. Some require you to give a correct name and phone number to see if the salesma follows up, some have no such requirement so you can use an alias and a faux phone number. Obviously if you take a test drive there will be a copy of your driver's license required so you need to use a real name. These shops go from the sublime to the ridiculous.
Wow thanks it didnt give me any description just said what day can you do this and then an email will be sent telling me what to do. I kinda like to know what I am doing before accepting this job. Car dealerships are the worst to deal with when not secret shopping them smiling smiley Thanks again
