O.K. Everyone. I was the one that was attacked and each time we respond to this person we're giving them what they want, unwarranted and unearned attention. Let it go and stop wasting time and energy. It's not worth the effort.
Oh Avi, you are taking away my entertainment for this evening!

I want to put my quarter in those "feed-the-troll" machines!

Sorry, I'm just tired of seeing bad behavior being rewarded. Of course, this may all start up again because of what I posted (including the previous sentence). So, save that quarter. You may be able to use it later.
Just think of that quarter as the hidden immunity idol; one never knows when it might come in handy. winking smiley

Dagosto -- You're too funny. Enron can't be used since it no longer exists. However, we probably could all agree on Goldman Sachs.
Lisa commented on an interesting point: MSCs with whom we all agree. Scanning only those assignments from 2003 through 2008, and eliminating any company I know to be defunct, the following is a list of MSCs I have no recollection of reading any negative posts:

1-iMyst
2-Focus on Service
3-Corp. Risk Solutions
4-Full Scope
5-Feedback+
6-TNS
7-Graymark
8-Ann Michaels
9-Pinnacle
10-Service Probe
11-1st Point
12-Person 2 Person
13-BMA
14-Marketing Endeavors
15-Shopper's Criteria

Please correct or add to the list.
I am not everybody else and as you said do not care for you or anyone else advice. The original post was why I do and continue to hate EPMS those of you responding that you like them does not change my opinion nor do your personal attacks on my attitude or lack thereof. If you like the company so much what are you doing commenting .Start your own blog about the reasons why you like the company .
Get your quarters out folks. Knew it wouldn't be left alone. Someone's looking for the spotlight again. Really sad.
Love Shoppers Critique. They have some very interesting shops and are very flexible with their deadlines.
Ooh, ooh, hate to do thissmiling smiley There have been recent complaints about the iMyst IC agreement, something about Feedback Plus and a couple of years ago there were a ton about the Ann Michaels ice cream shops, LOL! That still leaves 12 which is fairly amazing!winking smiley

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
Lisa -- I've done a few of the Anne Michaels ice cream shops and they weren't too bad. Had an issue with what I consider a dirty floor. I thought if it looked dirty it was dirty. They were looking for napkins, straw paper, etc. on floor so go figure. I recently saw that there have been revisions to the report for the ice cream shops. I think they said they removed the narrative. Don't do those during the cold weather in Chicago and I don't think I've seen anything for Florida when I was there. So, I can't speak to the changes.
The complaints about these jobs were rampant a couple of years ago and I'll admit there have not been any recently. Then they were also having so much trouble filling them that e-mail requests were quickly becoming spam. I did one once and felt it was enough. Then the reasons were simple. The time on-site which was required was not realistic to do alone and the reimbursement plus required purchases weren't enough to cover a guest. The report was also onerous. Narrative being removed would certainly change that drastically and since my Mother loves their ice cream (me not so much) I probably should give them a look just so I can treat hersmiling smiley

I would never go into that shop if I wasn't shopping it. Don't like the family's politics and won't support it by patronizing their business.
Mysteryme - I hear you that you are not happy with your experience with EPMS. I understand and accept that you don't like some of the responses to your original and subsequent posts.

It is standard procedure on the forum for members to respond both pro and con on any topic posted, sometimes including a negative critique of the original post. It would be highly unusual if every post supported the original post. Sometimes the topic gets highjacked totally and the thread meanders off down random streams. From time to time, tensions mount, tempers flare, and dustups follow. This is the sharing process.

You have clearly stated you are not here for advice. That does not prevent others from offering it if they see fit. It may be useful to other readers of the forum. The individual thread does not belong only to the original poster, but is developed and read by the membership as a group. Please consider that advice offered may provide vital information for fellow shoppers who may appreciate any insights available.

I do not shop for EPMS, and have no comments pertinent to how the company does business. In Texas, we would say "I got no dog in the fight". Nevertheless, I found the thread to be highly interesting. I have actually learned a lot that would be helpful in successfully dealing with the company.
Thank you, everyone, for posting your opinions and suggestions.

You have stated repeatedly you don't do rude and you don't do stupid. I admit I may be at a loss to understand what you mean. Perhaps you mean you don't shop for the rude or the stupid. Perhaps you mean you are not rude and you are not stupid. Perhaps you mean some of us are rude and stupid, and you don't do us. So you see, it is really easy to misunderstand the message and sometimes hard to sort it out.

It is an unkindness to suggest we not post on this thread and that if we don't agree with you, we should start our own. Why don't we all kiss, make up, and play nice?

Well howdy, Katie bar the door! I'm fixin' to git on outa here and git me a Dr. Pepper!

Ya'll come back now, heah?
My favorite (together with EPMS--LOL) is CSE. They reply to emails promply and pay very quickly. Their reports aren't too long either.
In the last week, I've read some of the threads and when I go back to look at all of the threads to pick the next one I want to read, the one I just looked at still has the red "New!" on it. I look again and find that there are no new posts. It still shows as unread, though.

I lived in Texas for quite a few years during my college days and and loved the state. I've lived everywhere since those days, but still miss Texas.
I was just a naturalized Texan but my daughter is a full blooded native.

To confirm, these shops no longer have any narrative, just short comment fields to justify negative ratings. The form is much more simple AND the pay is the same as it was when a narrative was required.

Aileen -- Good to know. May pick up some of the shops when I return to Chicago for Memorial Day weekend. Still a little too cold for me to eat ice cream right now.
I love working with EPMS. They pay well and promptly.
When I have a difficult target, the scheduler is willing to work with me and we are both happy!
I have worked with EPMS for over two years and really enjoy the company and it's people. They also pay decently and always promptly. And yes, schedulers are willing to accomodate me when things get difficult.
I appreciate their pay schedule, it is completely reliable. A pleasant change from some companies where you have to chase after your money.
The quote of the year about EPMS has to be "I don't do rude or stupid." Perhaps this should be the new EPMS slogan:

EPMS: We Don't Do Rude or Stupid.
