THE LOCKSLEY GROUP, LGL MERLE--SCAM????

Does anyone know if this company is or was legit?? I did a shop for them in APRIL and have not been paid, now all phones are out of service. I have emailed DAWN, NO RESPONSE, she is the one who assigned this and called me to do this shop. It was only 10 bucks, but I am a bit annoyed at this point.

I never have heard of them either. A Google reveals [www.latimes.com] so the company evidently has been around since at least 2005--assuming that she was working as a shopper back in the 1980s. So I suspect they are legit and would try the toll free number listed in that old article (800) 845-8674 to see if it still works. Since April is not unbelieveably long in this business, though even my pokey payers have paid up April shops already.

I emailed secretshopper.com and they said they were legit...but all the numbers were still not working...so I forwarded the email to the contact that I sent to secretshopper.com...and finally got a response, but still waiting on my 10 bucks!
