Canadian jobs

Hi,
I have also been shopping for quite awhile but become overwhelmed when you are filling out application after application for American companies with no Canadian jobs. I am a Maritimer and would like to work for as many companies as possible without paying of which I have with some satisfaction. I live in Eastern rural Nova Scotia and would appreciate any tips on companies to apply for. I have done work for Gapbuster, Sassie, Spot check, Frontline and Shop n Check also TES for the theaters. The only other busy one is Tenox. I'm sure our neighbors south of the border would feel the same about applying for Canadian companies with no US contracts so no offence is intended. Any help would be appreciated.

You're not alone with this one - we in the US would like to know what compnies have oppurtunities in our state. Check out my thread - Company list per US State or location.

Have you tried Premier Service (www.premierservice.ca)? It's a Canadian company - although I'm not sure if they do the maritime. SQM (www.sqm.ca) is also a Canadian company and I know they definitely have maritime jobs (you can see them on the job board). There are a lot of US based companies that also have shops available in Canada though.

I have seen that epmsonline.com has some apartment shops available in Canada. I have done a lot of shops for them, they are very good!!
