No....Minor inconvenience. Flip the coin over and be grateful you can drive to the DQ to do the shop and that you can take the test using your eyes and intellect. lol Sorry....I sit here in my lift chair and can't go out much anymore and can still find blessings amid the thorns. $5 phone shops are a blessings these days. winking smiley

Oh, and you can have the sundae...just bring me the 1/4 pound Grillburger with cheese less the mayo. lol

Why does it suck?

It sucks because we did it once, why have to do it again - just tell us what the changes are, if any.
....remember back in the "olden days" when the McD shops required a test every month..... then came the big new McD test that all the shoppers complained about, apparently a lot of them had trouble passing, then the MSC had trouble getting the shops done, and bingo...... no more McD test anymore ......

Although I took the DQ test (because I couldn't see how low the fee was until I took it), I never do the DQ shops cause they are so cheap and never get bonused here, they go fast for the cheapo price. Have the DQ shop requirements changed, is that why a recertification is required?
I'm on the side of minor inconvenience. In fact, I recertified today knowing damn good and well there wouldn't be any shops worthwhile right now. It was 5 minutes of my time and actually I could have passed the test without reviewing anything because if there were any changes they were certainly minimal. In my area there is the occasional shop that will bonus well, so a few minutes pays off.

The last DQ I did was bonused at $21.50. Almost all of the ones I've done were over $10.00, and several were over $20.00. It's a really good deal for me. It's a quick, easy shop with a quick, easy report for a great company that treats me well. I re-took the test at first opportunity, and like Lisa found it a quick few minutes and no problem at all. Now I'm set to pick up DQs when the price is right and the location is on my rat track. Maybe testing out is not your thing, and there are a lot of shops that don't require a test.

My DQ shops go at 3.00 dollars there were 8 in my area and all gone for 3 bucks wow wont even pay their gas milage.
I haven't checked it out but I'm pretty sure the same $3 shops are being grabbed in Fort Worth and Dallas. I shop mainly boonie towns, small and spread out.

I passed the first time. I didn't see any changes. The dine in question is tricky. You always have to get it to go. I guess so you can take the pictures without being noticed.
I don't know what the big deal is. If you passed the test once you should be able to pass it again. I didn't notice any changes.

Haven't done a shop yet regardless of the offer price since the shops are at weird times by me. Way beyond a chili dog at 8:30 PM.

I don't shop DQ, but I saw a bunch of $25 McD's shops last night -

In my haste, I clicked the wrong button on the pre-quiz...

... and now I'm out until the next round, when of course they will be $7.50.

D'oh!
There were some changes. More things for us to check for, of course! They fixed some of the redundancies as well. At least, it seems like the report will be in line with the new test. I haven't taken a job yet for reasons already mentioned above. Solidarity!
I remember a day long ago when I had to wade through 9, count 'em NINE DQ Blizzard's. It's a REAL good thing I love ice cream.

I do these shops when I am going to be in the area for other shops. Or I wait until the price goes up. If nothing else, I am getting a free meals that is worth it when I am doing 5 to 6 other shops a day.

I took the test without reviewing anything. Completed it in under 2 minutes and passed.

90% of this particular MSC's test questions are common shopping sense.
I retook the test last night and there were no changes since the last time I took it. I finished it in 3 mins. and passed it with 100%.
Yes, the test is very easy. Where I shop, sometimes very good bonuses, so I don't mind. If it's not against the rules, what co. shops McD's? Thanks!
I did two Dairy Q this week one for $17.00 and one for $18.00 I had my daughter and two friends in the car to eat them for me!!

Not bad with bonuses.
DQ has shops! *Whaa?!* I must investigate! The behemoth cut me off from my Sonic rounds, so I'll be searching for the DQ company. Yum!
They won't be hard to findwinking smiley

LisaSTL, you're right! I just found the company. Oddly enough, I have been shopping for a few years but never heard of the company until joining this board a few weeks ago. All the DQs in my area are currently on backup, but I live in a big city, so that's not surprising.
How easy was that and neither of us had to violate the posting guidelines, LOL!

Anita...you have the client name and the MS company initials in the same post. The initials are enough for most people to identify the company. You should edit your post.
