Amusement Adventures reports

I haven't done a shop for this company yet and before I do, I was hoping to get some insight into their 10-12 page reports. Is it narrative, multiple choice, or a combination or both? Is this assignment worth the free admission?

I'm wondering if this shop has proven to not be worth it. Kinda like the Ikea shop I've heard so much about.

Thanks in advance!

Sincerely,
H.A.R.D. at work

Do you mean Amusement Advantage? Their reports are long. They're upfront about that. They're broken down into sections, which you can save as not working on, work in progress, or completed. For the first, if you forget to change it to work in progress or completed, you lose the information you just typed in. For completed, you lose access to what you just wrote. But you can save part of the report and come back, so it has its ups and downs.

You also have to explain your no answers separately and not repeat the information, which can be difficult at times, especially when it relates to other information.
I have done quite a few of them but not for several months. There is another thread about this recently that i just answered a few days ago. I find the reports time consuming but not at all difficult to do. Searching for the items you need to review is sometimes difficult and sometimes is very challenging...It all depends on the venue. YOu need to find quite a few places so when you have a large venue it might mean walking back and forth in order to complete the shop several times. If you love the place and want to visit, take family for free it is worth it. But little kids i think would divert you from your "job". I would suggest if you go with small children doing some of it on your own and meeting up with them while they aer with another adult. When you need to buy things sometimes the least expensive thing at a particular shop on site might be $8-9 and that eats away at the money you get. Some giftshops sell pencils and postcards so you can spend very little. But if you need to purchase at a small cart gift shop I have found them to usually to be pricey stuff. Food also...to not lose money for instance I did a zoo shop and had to eat at 5 restaurants. there were only 7 open that day. The first one i encountered was a sit down iwth real plates place. They do not want you to just get fries alone or a drink alone at all the places. So you need to be strategic...I purchased a mexican dinner for around $8 (would have been $4-5 on hte outside), one hamburger at a place that had those and one hot dog and a chicken meal and was able for the last one to just get fries. Some places only had whole plates on the menu. I have done museums which I found easier but if very crowded hard to get around. and some of the places close down early so what you need to review is gone by 2 PM.
I have never done one for tickets only but it sounds like a good deal if you will return yourself and it is not a better deal then just buying an annual pass. The theme parks around here sell annual passes for little more than one days visit. If you have friends/ family visiting without passes and wnat to give them the free tics that would work out well and be a good value.
Anyway, the guy who owns the company, Scott, is super, super nice. He is the best part of the whole experience.
Scott was extremely understanding when I broke my laptop screen and my report was late as a result. I did take a photo as proof so he didn't think I was lying/flaking. He noted the account that I wasn't to be penalized one ticket, which is what you normally get for late reports.

I would suggest to anyone who isn't familiar with the place to go online and study the map and figure out the areas you need to hit. That might help cut down on the time running back and forth.
Everyone I've dealt with at Amusement Advantage has been pleasant, understanding and helpful, as well as communicative. Their jobs are extensive, but I enjoy working with this company so much that I look forward to the shops.
