Spree,
Please check out all of the many threads, several of which address this. Also, if this is urgent, please call your scheduler for advice.

I had already read several video threads and did not find an answer. My scheduler has not replied to my email yet. I hope if you are ever stuck on the side of the road and request help somebody shows you a bit more generosity.
spree, I for one have no idea because my DVR goes into my pocket. That may be why the suggestion was made to try one of the other threads. There is bound to be someone who has used that pouch. I vaguely recall looking at it when I got my rig and it's packed away with all of the other items I don't use.

Thanks for the response. I looked at a lot of the video threads but I havent seen the placement in the ones I read. Did you mean your shirt pocket or pants pocket?
I keep it in a pants pocket. I'm usually in jeans or shorts and my shop shirts are long enough to cover. I tuck the extra wire into the pocket as well. Whether you try to use something attached to your belt is going to depend on the same things as where you place your camera on your shirt, the type of clothes you are wearing and how you are built. For me it wouldn't look natural to have something like that at my waist. Since my phone stays in the car, any bulge that might show looks like a phone or a pack of cigarettes.

I wanted to add this. I know a guy who has kept his in a shirt pocket. It takes more altering since the wires have to run down behind the pocket, but it does give him an easier view of the unit. Keep this in mind, all of his shops were fast food so he did not need to use the extended battery. I'm also talking about the older PV-500's and to me that extended battery pack would be too big for a shirt pocket.

spree,
I apologize that I was less than helpful. I was not aware that you were in an emergency situation. I have provided a more complete response on the other thread tha is currently active on this subject. Just a note, I have so little use for that "holder" that ships with the unit that I did not immediately connect it with your question. Sorry.

Thanks a bunch Lisa. I went the pants pocket route as well. I just did not know if there were any hard rules about the placement.

Thanks a bunch walesmaven. I certainly appreciate that. That case is way too bulky for me to use as well.
