Spellcheck on Sassie

I have noticed that many times when I use the spell check on a Sassie report. It says "loading" for a long time and most of the time it never shows anything. They really need to update that portion of the report so it either works or take it away.

I've had that happen to me, too. I use the Chrome browser, and I thought that might be the problem.
The same thing was happening to me when I tried spell checking every section of narration. Then I realized that if I use the last spell check button at the very bottom of the online report, it checks everything, and I wait only one time instead of 5-6 times by doing it in sections.

That always happens to me too. For some reason it works for me if I save the report without making any additions or changes to it, then reopen it and spell check. I've just come to accept it as the way it works. I like to do the spell check and print out the narrative that way.

I do my narratives in Word, spellcheck, edit, etc. and then paste them in. I too had the eternal wait for spellcheck on Sassie. Ech.

Same thing here on Sassie with spellcheck...And sometimes it did not catch a typo. So I type up the summary part of the report in Word, proof it, cut and paste. I do read over once before pasting it - just in case. :+)
Try saving the report and spell check it immediately after reopening it without making any changes to it. That works for me, as I tried to explain in the above post. For whatever reason, if you change or add anything to the report, the spellchecker does not load.

I have a similar problem with photo uploads on Sassie reports. The first photo will go through, but if I have to upload another photo or two, the upload box does not open or if it does, it won't complete the upload. In that case, I open Internet Explorer and it works every time. (Hmm Is everytime one or two words?)

Despite being able to eventually get it to work, the whole thing is frustrating. If there is a spell check it should work easily. I've also used it and still had a company come back saying they found a misspelled word and the are kind enough to tell me I should have used it. Really? Then fix itsmiling smiley
