Retail Eyes/Shared Insight

Hi does anyone have any idea what happened with this company? They had 2 big clients and all of a sudden both clients were dropped and the name of the company became Shared Insight. I have not seen any available shops with them in months. Anyone know where the clients went?

Don't know which client you are referring to. But I have seen shops for them in my area and did a restaurant shop for them last month.
I did a shop for them in NYC last month and they still have the same clients-just the name changed.
How to contact? I have tried every avenue I know how, and I cannot find any way to contact anyone at Shared Insight.

They send me a notice of a shop I can do, then it does not show up on the shops log. I'm listed as "probationary".

HELP. I really need to know how to contact a scheduler or ANYONE.

Thanks,
Bob
They still have the same shops I have always done for them, but I think someone different must be handling the scheduling.

Signed up for a dinner shop a week ago that was due by the 18th. It got assigned to me today with a due date of today. sad smiley

I released that assignment without any guilt....and to answer the question above, if you log into their site there is a 'contact us' link where you can send them a note.
I saw that one available yesterday if it was in BH. So it was either before or after you got it and got rid of it. I think someone must have flaked or did a bad job so it went out again. When I saw it, the date to do it was either that same night in a couple of hours or tonight. Pretty short notice. . SteveSoCal Wrote:

That's the one, Sandy.

I applied at the beginning of the month and it was assigned to someone else, I assumed, since it was gone. Woke up this morning and it was re-assigned to me with a due date of today.

The need a better system for reassigning the shops, I think. When I was scheduling and someone flaked, I would send an email to the group of original applicants and ask if anyone else still wanted the shop. First person to answer would get and usually be happy to do it.
I receive emails from "Shared Insight" about jobs, and everytime I go onto their site, nothing available. I can't believe the jobs go so quickly.....

Around here the only jobs I *ever* see on their boards are for the yogurt place. If they have any other clients in my area (and I'd think they would, it's a pretty major metropolis), they are snatched up immediately or offered privately by email. I haven't worked for them long - about a year and only done a few of the yogurt shops - so I'm not sure how they do things "off the board" or not.
The software is capable of showing certain assignments to selected evaluators, I think.

Double-check that your preferences are set to show you all available assignments.

Their board is self-assign. You just need to read their note first and then you can assign it.

Not for all assignments. The Japanese restaurant has always been apply and get assigned for me.
I have been working for them for a long time...my second msc job years ago and I found them on Craigslist of all places and they were not a scam. In any case for years the Japanese restaurant was their only job in the states (they had many jobs in England) and i could get that restaurant often since no one seemed to be checking their site. But then when they got the yogurt shops things changed radically. Now the jobs go in a minute. And, Irene, I never get their emails until way after the jobs are gone, except the airport yogurt jobs in Oahu and Charlotte keep showing up on my page. The Japanese restaurant is only in a few areas of the country, the yogurt shops may be limited geographically as well. The other shop they have here in LA is a smaller chain in Los Angeles and perhaps a few other places. I do not know what other clients they have elsewhere but I think they are still a smallish company here. They do not post jobs on a particular day and they seem to not get around to posting until the 3rd or 4th of the month and sometimes later than that so it is unpredictable. You need to just look every day or so in the first week or two of the month to spot one.
Here in the northeast, they are still shopping both that yogurt chain and the Japanese steak house chain with the cooking at the table theatrics. I receive about one email per month from them at this time...
