1st Big Coyle shop

Gah!

I've done the restaurants, and was just awarded a big shop (attraction).

I've read over the instructions...wow.

Question if anyone cares to answer:

The instructions say to write the narrative in a word document, and submit via email. Does that mean I only complete the checklist, and do not write the narrative online as well? I'm emailed the company, but wanted to know others experiences too.

I want that one badly.

It's about 2 hours away. I'm taking a hit with gas money, but I'm hoping I do well on this and it opens doors for me with the company for other shops.
Plus, I've never been! I wish I could take my kids. I see they have lots of animals!

I have been applying for it for months with the hotel. All to no avail. Maybe someday..

Its a great place, one of my favorite places to visit (I also like the nearby town as well). I miss going there (I did it first as a shop then went a few times on my own after) since I have moved to the west coast.

I have never seen it without the hotel component until recently - but I would think it would be a great seague between a fine dining and a multi-day resort. I hope you enjoy it!!

sureshsurveys, instead of dredging up old posts about hotel shops, why don't you start one of your own and ask your questions? this is the third thread I've found about this.

Shoppers who find this board after being on the V board tend to search old posts and then add on to them....it's how it's done over there and posters who do not comply are derided by the moderator....they don't realize that it is different here.

Is that what's going on? I've never been on the V board. Thanks for explaining. I'll keep that in mind if I ever feel a need to go there.

Actually, I wish more newbies would use the "search" function before asking their questions. A lot of questions asked have been repeatedly answered. I'm in favor of searching first, then starting a thread to ask a question if the question has not already been discussed. That way we have less duplication. It really bothers me to have the same message cut-and-pasted into several different threads. Wastes everybody's time.
