Assisted Living Phone Shops

Has anyone done these calls? I was just reading the fom and saw that the "special instructions" stated not to ask for pricing, whereas the general instructions stated otherwise (i.e. you won't be paid if you don't ask about pricing.). I assume that the special instructions are the ones I should follow? Thanks so much!

Done 5 of them in the last few days. You ask about pricing on every scenerio except skilled nursing care, because that primarily would be covered by medicare. Let me know how they go for you. I actually found them to be quite a pain.

The scheduler actually responded to my email within minutes and gave me the same answer smiling smiley. I was glad I asked, because the special instructions were not written in complete sentences, thus making them confusing to me. Plus it was my first time doing these shops, so it took me a while to understand what was expected of me.

I'm sorry your calls were a pain! What went wrong?

I scheduled 4, and only 1 was somewhat difficult. It wasn't even the representative's fault, I just kept losing connection for some reason and ended up recording 6 calls. My other calls went well, but only because I spent way too much time on preparing. I even researched the local hospitals and names of doctors, in case that came up. (It did during my first call!)
P.S. 57carol: I just realized that you were the one who mentioned in another post that they asked you for the doctor's name! Thanks to your comment, I was prepared for that question during my calls! smiling smiley
