I have been assigned two credit card inquiry shops and I can't get the instructions to open up. I emailed the scheduler but got no response. I was set to do them today but have until tomarrow to get them done.

Can anybody send me the instructions?

Did you copy and paste the link into your browser? The links were not functioning for me, but that worked. It should open a Google doc. BTW, there are different links specific to each product shopped.

Personally, I found the whole process way to time-consuming.

I agree with LisaSTL on this. I had a few of these assignments today, and found the process to get the instructions needlessly annoying.

Glad it wasn't just me. But seriously, hit download guidelines, open that doc, and then paste the link to open yet another doc. The first two steps already tried my limited patience, lol!

Just got back to the home office after doing these assignments, and haven't started on the reports yet. Anybody else get theirs done? How did it go?

I was able to double click on hyperlink, and the guides all came up for me. This is a major PITA having the guidelines this way! Their system is super slow with all the reports this weekend.
The reports are actually super easy except for what Melissa said. The system has been horrendous at night.

I hit control and then the actual word ( like tires, jewelry) rather than the email address and was able to get them to open. I did 3 of them today. They were really easy.
Reports are short. Did some a couple hours ago w/o problems. I find that the guidelines are pretty much the same for all categories.. Get employee names and POV. Look for credit signage in the store. Take merch to counter and do the forgot wallet thing or some such. See what credit options they offer. If you read the report, that should give you everything you need.
I forgot--or lost--my wallet 6 times today, and I'll be forgetting it 4 times on Monday.

Well, after losing my wallet twice today, I guess I should quit goofing off on the forum and get my reports submitted. tongue sticking out smiley

Is anyone getting any response from floor associates about credit option w/o asking I cannot imagine that this would happen often.
I click on GUIDELINES and get some weird popup saying I have to buy a program called "WinRad" or something like that, to view the file. I can't get past it.
Just did two of these today and although they were easy, I had to haul around 3 pairs of jeans at one store just to get over $100!!! Everything, I mean everything, was on sale in that store.

Wanted to pass on a quick POV I thought of since my two were in the mall with nooooooo address on the outside to show proof. I went into the elevator and the certificate shows the name of the store and the address. Hoping this works!!
That is a great idea, but the instructions specifically say outside, not inside. I have one tomorrow and the outside pic could be fairly worthless since there is no address.

Just finished my reports. Talk about easy! What a nice change after all of the heavily narrated reports I have had to do this week.

One odd thing. On one of my assignments I was supposed to have two interactions - one on the floor and one at the register, which I completed. But the report never asked me about the interaction at the register.

hudge: did you read the report. It should give you everything you need. Guidelines are basically the same for all categories. As long as you find your category on the sticky note Please get back to me if you have specific questions re guidelines. Do not know what that thing is.
Just worried there was something else I needed to know. I've never done these so I'm wondering if we have to follow a particular senario (besides what item and price range).

Thanks for the replies.
Look at the report and you should be fine. You choose the required items and get help on the floor and then, if necessary, take the items to the register for the second transaction.

shopgal, I noticed that on one of mine as well. It hit me during the report that there really isn't an opportunity to have separate floor and register transactions because of the type of merchandise involved.

There is a place for n/as if there was no floor interaction, i.e, the floor associate and the cashier are the same. I used credit brochures for POV today. Previous poster said that it worked for her.
The jewelry shops don't include a separate section on the form for a cashier since it will always be the associate who assists you.

I may have to pick up some more of these assignments if my schedule allows. These were probably some of the easiest I have done lately.

Ok I wonder if they are holding assignments on the board for back ups? I applied for three in my area that are due Sat Sun or Mon. The first I ever saw them on the board were Saturday morning very early. I don't want to do them until tomorrow when I am in that area anyway BUT they are still in pending status. I drove past two of the shops last night and would have done them then had I been assigned. I have a smart phone and can keep the applications in while I am out shopping tomorrow but I really wish they would assign them or pull them.

Okay, so it is not just me. I have actually applied for some of the shops that are due Monday and they just sit there unassigned in my area. I have never seen this happen with them in the past. Then I get the standard email sent out that they are looking for shoppers in the area.
Of the 6 shops I did on Saturday, which is 12 interactions, only 3 mentioned credit--and 2 of those were at the register.
