The Jetta takes synthetic oil. They are on the Oil Can Henry's list of cars that you can't bring in for the shop. My Ford Focus is also on that list, which sucks because they can never fill those shops in my town. Jiffy Lube says that synthetic oil is not reimbursed. I haven't asked what exactly that means yet because there are only two Jiffy Lube's within like 75 miles of my house, so the Focus gets the Jiffy Lube shops. I live 25 miles away from where I work. We also put about 400 miles on it every other weekend if there is snow in the pass since the Focus has the snow tires, and the Jetta doesn't. Once the weather clears, there will be less miles on the Focus and I might ask about the Jetta at Jiffy Lube, but for some reason I just don't know how I feel about taking the Jetta there.
