Android Apps for MS

In addition to Gmail and Google Voice, I like Easy Voice Recorder and the Voice Recorder by Mamoru Tokashiki a lot. I often dictate notes to myself in my car (especially useful while make exterior observations or doing parking shops) or perform "brain dumps" after shops.

I would love to hear from other Android phone users what apps they use for shopping. Thanks.

I use Ultrachron Lite for timings, and ColorNote for notes. I used to have a nice tip calculator on my old phone, but haven't been able to find it or another that I like for my new phone. I added ColorFlashlight to help see paperwork and other essentials in my vehicle when out in the field after dark.

There's a couple apps that looked interesting and I put them on my phone, but haven't tried them yet, like MilesTrac and CamScanner.

I use Ultrachron Lite too. I have NoteEverything for notes, PDF Scanner for receipts, Photobucket for uploading photos, and PicSay for when I need to add a time stamp or job ID to photos.
Does anyone have the Samsung Galaxy Note II? I was thinking about getting this one for my shopping and personal use.

I use Evernote on almost every shop. It automatically syncs notes with an online component, which is incredibly useful. Before the shop, I paste the important details (or even the full report template) into Evernote. I copy and paste into and out of Notepad first, to strip out extra formatting that could prevent editing from my phone. Then, after the shop, I make my notes on the report template in Evernote. In the case of parking shops, I am even able to write some of my narrative on the phone in Evernote while I go walk around the area (far from the watchful eyes of the lot attendant, of course). When I get home, Evernote has already synced back to its online portion, which makes writing up reports easy. It allows for attaching voice recordings to notes, too. There is also an option to attach photos, although I don't use that part much because the free version is bandwidth limited and I haven't shelled out for the pro version yet.

I also occasionally use Tcounter, which is a clicker application that allows easier tracking of head counts for theater checks or observation shops where I need a customer count.

Does anyone know of a voice recorder that won't automatically stop when an incoming call is received, even if the call is not answered? To clarify, I am *not* seeking to record a phone call; I just don't want an incoming call to automatically end a recording if a call comes in while the voice recorder app is running.
I use a free-standing voice recorder (two of them, in case one fails or runs out of memory or battery, both of which have happened). One is a "spy pen" and the other just a common digital recorder that I carry in the external cell phone pouch on my beltbag. But the spy pen in the shirt pocket picks up a lot more.

There was one time when I forgot to delete old recordings and the pen ran out of memory and didn't pick up two shops (there is no easy way to visually verify that it is on) and another time when I bumped the other recorder's "off" button right after I started a shop and another when its battery died in mid-recording, so three times I have been really glad I had two recorders running. I haven't tried to use the smart phone as a recorder yet. I'm still trying to figure out how to get its battery to last from morning till night.

I'm going to look into that Evernote thing.

I have a Samsung Galaxy SCH-S720C. I'm still learning to use it. Not sure what the Note II is. Is that a Notepad or a phone?

I pray it does not occur that the last thing I did before I died was vacuum the house or eat broccoli.
itsasecret- It is a combo of both.
