Trouble with payments.

Anyone else out there having trouble getting paid from the Freeman Group doing hotels? Their claiming hard times and not paying for shops well overdo.

Lots of folks are finding the payments slow but they never were Sir Speedy to start with. There are a number of shoppers at Volition.com who have worked with them for a long time who are pretty much keeping a complaint thread over their alive and active with recent news and frustrations.

My sense is that this company WILL survive and that eventually shoppers WILL get paid--unlike other MSPs who have gone down in flames still owing shoppers individually and collectively hundreds and thousands of dollars of fees and reimbursements.
Just checked on the Volition thread and many shoppers are out big bucks waiting for payment......most are reimbursement for hotel/restaurant shops.......

This sounds like another G3 just waiting to happen!!!(just for those that don't know about G3..almost 4 years ago......many shoppers were stiffed....this company filed bankruptcy. For months, they told shoppers they were processing their checks for shops and some kept shopping for them.....there are 70 pages on Volition about this.Would be more but the thread was locked.....Freeman looks to be heading the same direction)

Shoppers comments on Volition:

"I am owed over $800 by Freeman, with the oldest jobs going all the way back to June!!"

"They owe me money for both August and September."

"Join the club. I have two unpaid shops for Freeman, awaiting both reimbursement for my fees as well as the pay (a fraction of the expenses) for shops performed in October and November."


"OK...so what happened to the 651.00 Freeman owes me from August? Haven't seen a dime."

"Ouch...and I thought my $250 was bad.I've been out $250 since September for a high end restaurant shop."

"I received the email that requested patience regarding reimbursements and stating that the oldest invoices will be paid first without exception. I have since discovered postings by other Freeman shoppers that indicate they have been promised payments for just completed shops in four weeks. Freeman now owes me almost 3000.00, all of which is more than 50 days old, with some extending back to August 8."

Wow that is a lot of money. Any other companies not paying? Glad I did not shop for them.
