These people are just trying to get some type of referral credits and it is all spam. Their wonderful mystery shopping app allows you to earn up to $21 a day. Woo hoo! How far is that going to get you? Plus they evaluate FF/fast casual and guess who pays the tab for the meal?

The scheme has as much to do with mystery shopping as filling out a survey from a receipt and the data collected will be just as useful.

The original thread has been removed by our wonderful moderators. This poster was also told, by me, that we do not tolerate this behavior. Despite acknowledging it he has instead chosen to continue on with his BS and post the exact same thing. You know these spam artists are just to effing stupid to understand they will get nowhere here and they are wasting everyone's time, including their own. As far as I'm concerned he can take a very long walk off a very short pier.

the company itself is real. Techcrunch wrote an article about the startup and they received seed funding from serveral tech venture capitalists. They hope to transform the way shopping is done it looks like. If it works and takes off, it could put traditional mystery shopping in jeporady.

I still say that the data they receive will be as useful as surveys on the backs of receipts. Let them waste their time with it, I am tired of them wasting ours.

If you're located in Boston, I would encourage you guys to at least try it. We will be considerate and not post links in the forum, and sincerely apologize if we've offended you, we're trying to bring forward and industry that has remained largely stagnant since the 1950's.

If you feel the industry has remained stagnant since the 50's then you don't really know that much about the industry.

As I stated in one of the posts, we are professional mystery shoppers. Your app is of no use to us. We don't run our businesses with the hope of getting few bucks that can be converted to a purchase on iTunes. When we shop FF or fast casual restaurants we have required purchases in order to provide consistent evaluations and we are reimbursed for those purchases in addition to being paid a fee for our services. We support families, pay our bills and pay taxes on the income we receive. While some do this for fun as well, the lion's share are running businesses.
