Had an Applebees To-Go shop tonight. Forgot about the SuperBowl when I scheduled it, but it worked out okay. Picked up my food and all was good and then the Sandy Hook choir came on the large screen TV with Jennifer Hudson. I stood there captivated along with the rest of the patrons and the flood gates opened. The restaurant broke out in applause when it was over and I walked out with tears streaming down my face. When I got to the car where hubby was waiting all he said was, "Is there a problem?" It was sort of good timing because I really wanted to see it but had to go get the food and luckily it came on exactly while I was picking up the food. Plus, my recorder was running and I have the whole thing on tape.
