Does anyone still shop Trendsouce without the EIN?

I'm just wandering. After they got rid of my grocery spot, I don't take the shops. I didn't get the EIN either.

Quit wandering aimlesslysmiling smiley In answer to your question, I have. It is always from a phone call. I haven't bothered looking at their site in a couple of years.

No, I never got the grocery store until I got an EIN#...but, that's old news!!

Live consciously....
I live in Canada and do not even know what an EIN is and have done several shops for them.
I still pick and choose my shops with them without an EIN...grinning smiley

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
I think those with EIN get priority somehow. In some places shops go quickly, so having one mught be helpful. In others, they stick around so not having an EIN doesn't matter much.
If you were previously able to self-assign and didn't get an EIN, you can still shop, just no longer schedule yourself. Apparently, new registrants can't shop at all without the EIN. Re: the grocery shops, I've gotten some through requests, but most of them have been through email offers -- rush jobs, usually bonused.
I shop for them all the time. I refuse to get an EIN. I do grocery, pizza, on site verifications and other random shops that pop up.
Just signed up with Trend Source. We battled back and forth for several days before I produced my EIN. I actually already had an EIN that I never used. Ended up calling IRS to get my info.

I was told I couldn't do job verifications without one but could still do the other shops.
That is not correct. If you can do shops for them, you can do the BV visits also.Just gotta pay the 5 spot for the background check...

hmmm...really? oh well, not paying for that either....I was good enough to do them for years and did them well.
Getting an EIN doesn't have any effect on the shops. They need it if you are doing any business verification's. Law requires that anyone verifying an active business be a "business". The EIN simply is added to your IRS 1040, with your combined Schedule C and goes on the front of the form as a direct adjustment. Easy and profitable. Yes, I still shop for them.
Where is the law that requires someone performing a BV be a business? I have completed plenty of BVs for other companies and never been asked for an EIN.

No EIN and I haven't done any shops since they required it.

As of today I am still an active shopper with them, despite their comment that I would be deactivated without an EIN.

They call me sometimes with shop offers and today have more shops on their job board than I remember them normally having, but the recent bad weather in my area might have something to do with that.

There is every indication I could do shops with them. Maybe another time.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
No EIN and I can still apply for shops. No more self assign. I've only done a few since the EIN requirement was added, but never relied heavily on them anyway.

I haven't done any shops for Trendsource since they started that FF where the shopper has to award the successful associate
from his own pocket to be reimbursed later. They also asked for EIN. I noted that they have removed my star as well.
You lose the star if you haven't done 5 shops in a year's time. Could that be the reason?
