setting the resolution on a digital camera

I know this has been discussed because I asked it and someone actually told me how to do it.

I need to set my new digital camera up so that the photos are automatically at the right size. I've got a $50 station audit and a $25. I hate to me up all night resetting photos when the camera can just do it.

Thanks in advance.

BTW. Yes, I did a search and nothing pops up on info from the last 2 years.

On my camera it is under Functions. If you cannot find it and have to resort to sizing the photos after the fact, just use a program that does it in a batch.

If you do an online search using your camera's model number, you may be able to download a complete user guide. You may even be able to find a YouTube or other video showing you, step by step, how to change the resolution.

Generally speaking, look for a Menu/Functions/Settings button to press and hold for a second or two. Then, use the arrow keys until you see a tab with a wrench icon or a similar symbol. Keep navigating until you can choose among different resolutions.
If you can't figure it out from the manual, posting the model on here might help. Some of the menus are a little different.
Some cameras (like mine) don't have very many settings. My lowest pictures size is way too big. I downloaded a free program that batch resizes. I put all my day's photos on the computer, select all and right click to select "resize" from my context window. After the first time using it, the settings are set so I only have one clidk and they are all done.
On the Nikon Coolpix S3300, you hit the "MENU" button on the back and then click on "Image Mode" and scroll down to VGA640x480 the hit "OK" to set it. Since you didn't mention the make & model of your new camera, I can't be sure if this helps, but hope so.
