Sex and Drugs and Post-Reveal Photos

Anyone else out there uncomfortable with requirements to capture photos of drug paraphernalia and pornographic material when it's for sale in certain gas stations? I got kicked out of an audit by an irate manager once for photo'ing some glass pipes and bongs. Now I'm more than a little gun shy about getting such pictures, especially when associates are hovering. Feel kinda creepy taking photos of porn mags, too.
Any advice?

The only way I would be comfortable doing that type of assignment was if I brought along a friend (preferably a large friend, lol) who could cover me while I take pictures with my phone.

But otherwise, that job would be on my 10-foot pole list.

I take those pictures regularly and haven't had a problem. If I'm asked to leave, I will. Otherwise, I'll complete the audit.

I take those pics, no biggie for me. I have never been asked to leave, but if I was I wouldn't argue. Just say thank you for your time and go.

If you go to take the picture and they don't allow you, you report the items to the MSC and then explain you were not allowed to photograph the items in the store.
I try to take them from a distance and zoom in at first. Then get them close up just before I leave. That way there is some evidence if I am not allowed to get the close ups. I rarely see these items, though, in my neck of the woods.
