restaurant shops?

I have been mystery shopping for several months now, and haven't seen but one or two restaurant shops in all the companies I signed up with! Can anyone help me by telling me of some companies that do restaurant shops. I live in SC/NC area.

I am signed with almost a hundred companies. Besides fast food, I have only found 5 or 6 restaurants which are shopped in my area. Unless it is somewhere I really like to eat, I usually pass them up because most of them are reimbursement only and it usually isn't enough to cover all the expenses including tips. The reports are also very detailed and require a lot of narrative. I will spend up to an hour after dinner doing a really detailed report.

I also quite doing restaurants because there are very few that you get paid a fee over the top of the reimbursement. The reports also took at least 30 minutes to do. It was not worth it. I still do a lot of fast food shops but only the ones that pay a fairly good fee. I do one fast food shop where I get $13.00 per shop and I do about 50-80 of them a month. Those are the ones that I can make some money at.

A fast food shop for $13 is good fee if this is on top of re-imbursement.

One company I work had been rewarding re-imbursement only for a particaular fast food restaurant. The report is easy but they have now reduced the rate to $5 but expect you to buy a meal that costs close to $7 - now why would I want to do that shop?

I have done some family and fine dining establishments and it can vary between re-imbursement only and a small fee. The reports are detailled and require quite a bit of narrative. Like Bonnie, if it's somewhere I would usually go or would like the oppurtunity to try then I'll do it but some are a lot of effort.
