CORI phone shops

I got an email today asking to become a "preferred phone shopper". Can someone share about the number and type of questions on the reports? Is the pay rate acceptable for the work? Any other details that I should consider? Thank you.

I wondered about that too - got the email -- sounds like regular work BUT the average of 1.00 per shop turned me off. Unless I hear something here to indicate it's not really that low I don't think I am interested.

I got that email too. I hope someone here that has done these can enlighten us. smiling smiley

I've done phone shops. A lot of them, but I believe these ones are recorded.
Yes, $1.00 and they would schedule you the shops! 10-30 a day... That's only $10 - $30 a day. Guess I'd rather do one $10 shop than 10 $1.00 phone calls!
I got the email as well, but no way. That is a ridiculously low amount of money. I wondered if they'd get a lot of takers because of the language they used in the email - calling the recipient "the best of the best". Dollars to doughnuts, 99% of CoRI's roster got the exact same email.
Glad to see this being discussed. I was wondering about this email myself. Sorry, but $1 a call is too low.

I got the email, too. Thought the same thing as you guys! IF, and only if, the calls were a few minutes each, with one or two check-off questions for the report... then maybe. Otherwise, no thanks!

Plus, my hours are not of the standard variety. I love afternoon & evening shops. smiling smiley

I emailed back requested more information, but have yet to receive a reply. I am either home or on the road every day and wouldn't mind squeezing in extra phone calls. The low pay isn't bad (to me) if it's not a target shop and if it doesn't require narrative.

Being a cynical person though, all I keep thinking is SCAM. lol

Yeah, no dice for me, either. I'm getting back on another job next week. My hours are too irregular at times to chance a gig where I can't reschedule. Besides, if given a choice to do phone shops from the trailer on the job or doze off after sampling asbestos in a suit all morning, I'm dozing off...
