Has anyone noticed that new members are going to the introduction thread and appear to think that once they post........they will get job offers???

I had one pm me as they were invited to join this forum.........introduce themselves and begin mystery shopping. They were very confused until I emailed and explained how msing works. I don't know if it was Jacob that invited them but I noticed another new member has pretty well done the same thing. Introduced himself along w/email address, etc.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. Indeed many folks seem to assume that all they need to do is sign up here and post either in the Introductions or on the Job Board. If that is as far as the imagination travels they won't get far.

I don't go to the introductions, but I have seen these on the job board. You wonder how they function in real life. :-)
